Victorian deduction meets questionable chemistry — and neither survives intact.

The Mystery

London has a Jack problem.

It is 1888. Sheerluck Holmes is investigating a string of WhiteCastle murders whose crime scenes contain little square hamburgers and increasingly ridiculous clues. Meanwhile, Dr. Henry Jackal is attempting to cure Prudence Prissywood of Animalia Nervorsa — a condition that causes her to become any animal mentioned in her presence.

Then Jackal drinks his own experimental formula and unleashes Mr. Hype. Another victim falls. Everybody becomes a suspect. And Holmes discovers that the evidence may be pointing not toward one Jack, but many.

The Experience

Scotland Yard has help. Whether it wants it or not.

Designated guests portray Inspector Lestrade, a British Daily Planet reporter, and Lady Featherbottom. The entire audience joins the investigation after Act Two, questioning suspects and completing Detective Cards before the solution.

Musical parody, broad physical comedy and audience interaction turn the Victorian murder mystery into an evening in which the evidence is serious even when absolutely nothing else is.

Evidence from the Case

Six exhibits. Far too many Jacks.
