A storybook wandered into late-night television and neither one can find the exit.

The Mystery

Happily ever after has been cancelled.

Old King Cole is tired of royalty and wants the wicked witch who transformed him from a frog to reverse the spell. The witch is hiding in plain sight as Grandma, a sweet old lady with a bubbling cauldron and an unusually flexible definition of dinner.

Little Red Riding Hood arrives with Big Bad Wolf Jr. close behind, while Odd Sterling narrates the fractured fairy tale toward another dimension. Then Sterling samples Grandma’s stew and dies — leaving four suspects, four motives, and an audience charged with finding the killer.

The Experience

Eventually, even the narrator comes from the audience.

Guests become Grandma’s Mirror Reflection, Goldilocks, a telephone Operator, and finally the replacement Narrator. The entire audience questions the suspects and completes Detective Cards before the solution.

Evidence from the Case

Somewhere between Grimm and the Twilite Zoan.
